Custom Dental Veneers for a Brighter, More Uniform Appearance

A dental veneer is a thin, durable porcelain shell custom-made to cover the front surface of a tooth. Veneers can repair teeth with chips, cracks, and stains, close small gaps, and reshape misshapen or slightly misaligned teeth.

Popular for cosmetic enhancement, veneers offer a simple and natural-looking solution for achieving a brighter, more uniform smile.

Consultation: You and your dentist will discuss your smile goals and determine if veneers are a suitable option for you.
Examination: Your dentist will examine your teeth & gums, and may take digital scans, photographs, X-rays, and impressions as needed.
Preparation: A small amount of enamel is removed from the front of the tooth to ensure the veneer fits flush. We take a digital scan (& sometimes an impression if necessary) of the prepared tooth and surrounding teeth, and a color for the porcelain veneer is selected.
Fabrication: The veneers are custom-made in our office based on the impressions and detailed instructions from your dentist, ensuring the right shape, size, and color.
Application: Your dentist will check the fit, shape, and color, make any necessary adjustments, then clean the teeth and bond the veneers in place with dental cement.

Are veneers right for you?

Before deciding on veneers, discuss with your dentist whether they’re the right choice for you:

Veneers Are Permanent

The preparation for veneers involves removing a small amount of tooth enamel, making the procedure irreversible. If veneers become damaged or dislodged, they will need to be replaced. With proper care, veneers can remain in excellent condition and retain their brightness.

Veneers Aren’t for Everyone

For veneers to be suitable, your teeth and gums must be healthy. They may not be ideal for those with severe orthodontic issues or habits such as tooth grinding and jaw clenching.

The Advantages of Veneers

Though there are more affordable cosmetic restoration options, veneers provide benefits that whitening treatments cannot. They offer a durable and aesthetically superior solution for enhancing your smile.

  • Covering Stains: Veneers effectively conceal stains that whitening treatments alone cannot remove.
  • Natural Appearance: The semi-translucent porcelain used for veneers closely resembles natural enamel, providing a more natural look.
  • Enhanced Stain Resistance: Veneers are more resistant to staining than other cosmetic treatments.
If chips, gaps, stains, cracks, or minor imperfections are affecting your confidence, consult your dentist to explore how veneers might be the ideal solution for restoring and enhancing your smile.
